Imagine a facilitator not achieving the desired objectives because the Elephant didn’t show up in the room. The “Elephant in the room” – A metaphor for an obvious problem or risk people are uncomfortable addressing. Managing group dynamics is a critical aspect of a Facilitators effectiveness. Designing a process that truly surfaces any issues of conflict that may exist in group dynamics is both a challenge as well as immensely satisfying when it helps groups achieve a strong desired outcome. The workshop will explore different tools, processes and methods that a Facilitator can deploy to get the “elephant in the room” to show up in a productive way.
